Junior Womenswear Tops Designer

Very well known and very successful British Fashion Brand!
We are seeking a Junior Womenswear Designer with a focus on Tops to support the Head of Design in reflecting the creative vision of the brand and delivering the commercial strategy of the business plan.
**Responsibilities**
– Design Top categories and support on all other design categories as needed
– Conceptualize the Tops range and pull together seasonal research
– Source fabrics within the department and gain sales momentum on above categories
– Complete spec sheets and technical packs, attend fit sessions, and manage the critical path
– Work closely with various teams to maintain consistency of quality and fit across the product range
– Assist backstage at the showing of the latest collection
**Qualifications**
– Minimum 3 years of experience in womenswear woven category
– Ability to sketch by hand & with computer, experience with PLM or PDM
– Proficiency in 3D work, CAD, eye for prints, textiles & embroideries/embellishment
– Pro-active, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
**Day-to-day**
The Junior Womenswear Designer will be responsible for designing, sourcing fabrics, attending fit sessions, and managing the critical path to ensure effective and timely sign off process.
